Founded by an Army veteran, True North Wellness gets its name from one of the ways to describe “north” when navigating to a point with a map and compass. “Grid north” refers to the top of a printed map as you are viewing it while “magnetic north” refers to the direction that a compass will tell you is north. While both of these methods will get you to a relatively close northern point, “True North” is the actual direction of going straight towards the North Pole. Great lesson for land navigation, but why does that matter to you? We don’t want to develop a “grid north” treatment plan that looks good on paper, but doesn’t factor in all of the individual complexities of your body. We also realize that a “magnetic north” approach can be influenced by external factors. We want to help you arrive to your “True North”, your ideal view of well-being and performance.
Rather you are looking to alleviate pain and tension, healing from an injury or other health condition, gearing up for a physical competition, or just wanting to take a moment to deeply relax, let True North Wellness help to guide your healing journey to a healthier you!
